Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Dragon Ball Z Kakarot to coincide with Tokyo Game Show 2019. The trailer confirms a January 17 2020 release date and the inclusion of the Buu saga which completes the Z series.

It is great news to see the inclusion of the Buu saga. It has been too often that we have had Dragon Ball games cover the Frieza and Cell sagas yet skip inclusion of the Buu saga - Sagas, and Budokai 1 spring to mind.

We did get a decent trilogy for the GameBoy Advance in the Legacy of Goku series. It turned the series into an action RPG with each game covering one of the major sagas and associated movies.

Though I am happy about this announcement, I am hoping that each saga has received the same love and attention that the Saiyan and Frieza saga’s appear to have. I do worry a bit that this may be too much content for one game to cover.

Are you happy about this announcement or do you think they should have taken more time and done this as a trilogy?
